Hey Grunts,

I would like to apologize that for the spam bots incidents. To assure you, I have got rid of all those bots connected to LadyXAdmin. I ip banned the source and removed a huge number of threads on the introduction section. I also installed Repatcha on the registration for making it harder for bots to join the forums.

Other forums that have had this problem have established extra measures like having to post before you can send private messages. Look into doing that too if the problem continues? XD

Or really for a forum that's not so huge like serebii I still think manual account activation is the safest way to go. :x ~ On Ryuu-Rogue forums we have an extra required profile question called "bot/literacy check" where the user has to prove they're not a bot and such by saying something related to Ryuu-Rogue, and then we just check if they're good to get them activated, which only takes an extra click. XD;

That's good idea :O. Well I'm already a step ahead. I set the thing so I would have to activate accounts manually but the idea of putting that profile field is great idea.
